Dawn of the Dead

Scheduled zombie horde Β· RCON waves Β· Lady Dawnie lore

The flagship world event. A scheduled zombie horde that attacks the entire server on a configurable interval. Built around Lady Dawnie β€” the lore character named after Admin Dawn, portrayed as the queen of the undead.

Event Flow

  1. 01Automatic scheduler fires (default: every 13 hours)
  2. 02Lady Dawnie buildup message posted in Discord
  3. 0310-minute warning sent to all players in-game
  4. 04Event begins: zombies spawned near players via RCON
  5. 05Each wave fires at configured interval (default: 10 min)
  6. 06Wave announces in Discord with directional flavour text
  7. 07End: "The horde withdraws. Lady Dawnie is... mildly impressed."

Treasure Hunt

Hidden cache Β· Zombie guards Β· Claim code race

A world event where Zombita announces a hidden cache of supplies guarded by zombies. Players race to the location in-game β€” the first to arrive claims the reward using a generated claim code. 30-minute window before the hunt expires.

Hunt Flow

  3. 03Discord announcement: hunt type, risk, Zombita's hint
  4. 04Claim code generated and embedded in server Lua file
  5. 05Players race to the location in-game

Factions & Wars

Persistent groups Β· Private channels Β· Bronze wars

Persistent player groups that survive across sessions and across the season. Full leadership structure, private Discord channels, kill tracking, and the ability to declare war β€” with real bronze on the line.

Faction Features

  • Any player can create a faction with /faction create
  • Invite, kick, promote to officer, demote, transfer leadership
  • Private Discord channel created automatically under FACTIONS category
  • Visible only to current faction members
  • Disband removes all members and deletes the channel

War Flow

  1. 01Leader declares war with /war declare <faction> <stake> [duration]
  2. 02Defending faction leader notified β€” accept or decline
  3. 03On acceptance: war begins, both stakes locked
  4. 04Kill tracking: every kill during war counted per faction
  5. 05At war end: winning faction splits combined stakes
  6. 06Surrender available anytime β€” forfeits stake immediately
